Mine has it too, but unless it splits, I am not going to worry about it.

If they replace it, the leather will crease again, it is as other have said the same leather.

Resurrecting old thread

Anyone ever resolve this issue? Driver’s seat always sees more wear and tear but to me this appears to be the outer bolster collapsing - pic below of mine at 78k (non-sport). Wondering if I could add additional foam?

How do you get *that* to work? I've got a 13 with sport seats, and I know I can store driver preferences. But how to get it to go flat when the car is off?

foam is going to wear more on the side you get in and out of. Some people have moderate success using a steam wand to plump up the foam and reduce the wrinkles.

Thanks - I might try that in the Spring. I did research low mileage used cushions and they all seem to have similar results so I’ll chalk it up to a poor design.

I actually never realized that this leather doesn't absorb the product well. ARE people having success with any products?
These right here are keeping my seats really well.

Mine is a convertible and I drive it without the roof all the time, lots of sun on it, I use this stuff once a month, I don't want the seats to go bad, I plan to keep my G37S coupe convertible for a long time. They do wonder, but it takes a bit to do them right, and then you gotta wait 1-2 days before you go and clean the seats and shine them, but it'll keep them alive, if you start soon enough!

Use steam machine to steam out wrinkles. Spray seats heavily with leather conditioner after cleaner and cover with large trash bag and let it sit in heat for a day it will soak in deeper
