white or silver sedan G35S

Which of these colors is better looking on the G35S SEDAN - white or silver

Silver on the sedan I think :)

silver if you don't plan on doing anything else with it, clean all the time.

white is hella sick when you do stuff to it. blacked out

Hi Alt G 01-23-2010 12:27 AM

White shows the dirt pretty fast. Also, the primer on the bumper is black so any chips stick out like a sore thumb. The rest of the primer appears to be grey so chips on the hood are also noticeable. But if you go with a clear bra that might not be an issue for you. I have white, if I were doing it again, I'd go with silver.

Silver, but both look better with a flat black tint.

crazjayz 01-23-2010 01:18 AM

White. Silver is too commonplace.

eauty 01-23-2010 02:03 AM

what kind of silver? White works farther south

The correct answer is "it depends"

da mayor 01-23-2010 09:38 AM

liquid platinum

Whoever said white shows dirt fast has obviously never owned a light colored car. Light cars reflect more light, they dont absorb dirt like white clothing. A lighter car will appear cleaner than it actually is due to light reflection. A dark car will show dust and dirt much easier than a lighter colored car. I vote IP. Then again i am biased and have owned nothing but white vehicles haha.

MW is a good color but yes, it shows dirt faster than silver color. I've owned both silver and white. I can see a couple dirt lines after raining w/ my white cars. Silver is best color if you don't want to spend too much time cleaning your car.

You obviously have never had a white car where
a) the dirt is, well, dirty :icon38:
b) the crap they put on the streets in the winter is more or less black.

I agree, however, that when the roads are dry, white is easier to keep clean than black.

My car, as I stated, is white (my previous one was a Volvo S60R Black Sapphire Metallic). I would, therefore, say that I have owned a white car. :dunno:

I vote LP for the sedan (but IP for the coupe). Here's my LP with 35% tint and midnight grille to help push you towards LP - haha. My rear lip and front chin spoiler are on back-order (argh!) but my HL/TL overlays from BAT will be here anyday!
