Issues with stock Dunlops?

I have a xS sedan with the Dunlop Sport Maxx tires on it. I get a lot of feedback from the road through the brake pedal, depending on how the road is. Some are perfectly smooth with no feel, some feel like the wheels are out of balance (this is not while actually breaking.....I can feel it if I rest the side of my foot on the pedal without actually pressing it).

Originally I was worried something was up with the car, but after reading around (both here and Tire Rack reviews on the same tire) Im wondering if its really just the tires. The car also has the aluminum pedals, Ive always been curious if rubber pedals "dampen" vibration better than an aluminum pedal might.

I put Continental DWSs on my last car (2001 i30) and boy were they nice tires!!

Anyone else have the same issues/feelings about the stock Dunlops?
