Former BMW Owner, New G37XS Owner
Took delivery of my Liquid Platinum G37XS today, besides the obvious sports package I also went with the premium package and navigation package as well. I'm coming from a 2006 BMW 325i, while it was a great car (when it was not in the shop) I was looking for something different with All-Wheel Drive (didn't like BMW's always on XDrive system) and the Infiniti seemed to fit the bill. I am pretty surprised how similar the G37 feels to the BMW and definitely think that the interior is a step up plus you just can't compare the 325i's 215hp with the G37's 328hp it's really a whole different beast. Anyway I figured I would join up here and see if anyone had any advice for a new owner and post some pics of my new ride.

No mods keeping stock at least for now. On the BMW, I had some problems Bluetooth connectivity that needed a firmware upgrade that took over a week to complete, the tires were wearing incorrectly and had to be replaced, BMW assist was intermittently not working which I brought it in a few times for and it was never resolved, a few problems with the key fob working intermittently, the passenger side door handle was peeling, the outside handle on the door handle was sticking, multiple problems with the door lock one of which required the complete replacement of the steering wheel and column which lead me to bring it in again because it was never calibrated properly. Hopefully I'll have less headaches with the G37.

I think the G37X design team clearly had BMW in their sights. I am very impressed with my wife's new car ( 5 BMWs and 2 MINIs in my history). Like the G drive very much. I will say the 335iXis a very impressive car but way pricey and those after warranty repair bills can get excessive. Hopefully the G won't be like that.
G is much more technologically advanced, too. For the high 30s I paid for the car--its a steal compared top the 335 ix.

You will have less problems with the G. I had a brand new 07 335i coupe and it was in the shop all the time for electrical, sensor issues. I was so tired of the bullcrap that I sold it 5months later.
Congrats on the new ride and enjoy!!
