G37 Megan racing

What’s good everyone!?
so I recently got installed k&n intakes, Megan racing headers, and Megan racing test pipes(down pipes) I still haven’t gotten a Y pipe or an exhaust. Just have a muffler delete
the car is loud af but it’s a nasty loud. I’m guessing because I still have the stock y pipe and exhaust.. should I get a Megan racing y pipe? Or should I get invidia gemini catback exhaust? I want to eventually get it tuned so I can get some flames & of course full power. Any recommendations on what I should do?

Wait, what? You've got Megan Racing headers and test pipes with a muffler delete, and you think it's loud because of your OEM y-pipe?

Replacing your y pipe won't improve the sound with that combo. Should get an actual catback or go custom and add some resonators. Surprised that you would want Invidia gemini as that is probably the most quiet catback available but it will certainly solve your rasp problem and might sound pretty good with the header and test pipe combo. More popular options would be Ark or motordyne if you have the funds. With some searching you should be able to find one you like. I have an mxp cat back but wouldn't recommend it in combination with non resonated test pipes.

Nooooo. I thought the nasty rattle came because the headers and test pipes are 2.75 in and go Into the 1.75 in y pipe.
i just want to get some good gains w flames but since I’ve seen my neighbors 370z with only test pipes and invidia exhaust and still shoots flames maybe I thought I can just add the invidia and hopefully get some flames with the setup I already have.

No flames without a tune. Or leaking fuel line...

You can give me "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". yadayada BS. Muffler delete sounds like ***. If you have spent some time listening to fine cars you see how refined an exhaust can be. Tune the sound of an exhaust by adding a quality resonator (or a hemholtz unit if you're fancy).
