Got my flex pipe replaced under warranty from the Honda dealership I bought my car from. When I got the car back they didn’t say anything, but the notes on the papers mention some issues they had. Do I have to be worried about anything?

two potential issues (otherwise it seems fine):

1) where they say the gaskets don't sit flush...its probably b/c the aftermarket pieces have warped flanges being of lower quality than OEM (it could be the y pipe or the test pipes)..no biggies but it may develop an exhaust leak...the remedy will be to tighten the pipe down a bit or apply some liquid gasket or some new gaskets at that time

2) I never heard of a leaking Y pipe causing/preventing any gas smell (maybe somone else has and can correct me on this)...the gas smells is a normal byproduct of a Cat delete and I would expect it to continue even after changing the Y pipe..if it has fixed the smell thats good to know

Is the heat shield and dampers being removed fine?
The gas smell was in the cabin which I assumed was from the exhaust fumes being dumped at my feet. It seems like it went away after the fix, but I might also be biased.

yeah those being removed is fine......I haven't seen any aftermarket ones that even use them (by design)
