Popping Sound Coming from Dash or Windshield - can't tell

2011 G37 Journey Coupe recently purchased. I noticed while driving around town a popping sound coming from the dash or windshield in front of me. I have not been able to isolate the sound. This only happens when driving so I believe it is caused by the vibration on the road. It sounds like maybe the dash or windshield need to a new adhesive or something. Has anybody else had this issue and been able to isolate it?

Thank you!

There's a TSB for this.

It's a quick easy fix, mine did it too and the dealer fixed it while I waited. It's just a small part that presses against the windshield and squeaks.

Thanks I ordered the j-stripping from Amazon. Gonna see if I can do it myself this weekend, otherwise will ask the dealer to do it. I hope this solves the popping sound problem! Cheers.

Report back if you get it fixed with the part you used. Mine is starting to do it too.

I ordered this one: . Heading to dealership today to have them put it on. We shall see if it resolves the issue. Fingers crossed!

Why not do it yourself. It's really easy to tuck it in there and cut it with sicissors.

Anybody have a video of this sound?
