Opinions: Coupe or convert?

whats up guys,

I currently own a 05 G35x and looking to buy g37. I found two near my area, I recently just moved to Miami. They are: a 2010 convertible with 49k and the other is the 2008 coupe with 76k. The price diff is about 2k. I had my sights set on the coupe but did test drive the convert and it was fun.
However I know the coupe would be the better driver in terms of performance and I enjoy modding. I see converts don’t really have a big community.
what do you guys think coupe or convert?

If you plan on suspension mods coupe FTW, other than that most other mods are equally available for both. I would expect slightly better performance from the coupe due to extra weight for the vert. The vert top is typically trouble free but obviously the coupe won't be prone to any top issues.

That’s what I don’t like about the convert is the rear but with the top down it looks great.

The coupe 100%. The coupe roofline looks weird, but agreed...it does look pretty sweet with the top down. The tails, I feel they are the same as whats on the sedan. Full circle LEDs. I think the coupe tails look more aggressive.

coupe. the verts rear is ugly and you also cant get the sport ducklid spoiler on there from what i understand. so if it doesn't have it youre going to be stuck with the chrome piece. also much slower and dont like the bubbly look that it gives the cabin

Air conditioned seats is the only reason i would consider a convertible over the coupe. Don't know why the coupe didn't offer that option.
