Question Alternatives to AutokitsX coupe rear diffuser? Fitment?

I'm on the hunt for an AutokitsX diffuser and will probably end up ordering one from AutokitsX directly pretty soon. Before I do so, I wanted to see what alternatives there are and how their fitment is?

There are some on eBay that look identical, are cheaper, and claim perfect fitment, but eBay is eBay. Anyone have experience? (I tried to search the forums, but no luck)

Thoughts? I guess a better question might be: are there any BAD rear diffusers?

Thanks for any help/info!!

(X-post; I originally posted this in the Tech Area, but I'm guessing there is very little traffic over there).

Be a hero, try one of the cheap ones and report back.

I would like to get one too--especially if a cheaper one would work.

Alas, I am not a hero. I just ordered an AutokitsX V1 diffuser. I didn't want to risk ****ty fitment, returns, dremelling, just for $50.

They gave me an ETA of 5-7 weeks. I don't mind that, as long as I get it. :/

Fingers crossed.

I ordered the front cf spoiler for the sport bumper of my 2013. 2 months later nothing, didn't even start on it. I asked for refund and got it back about 3 weeks later.

I know of 2 other people going thru it right now and they still have no product. Don't pick up phone or return emails.

This is just a warning

Good luck, hope everything turns out well for you.

The info I posted was about AutokitX,

For some reason they can't make product,

Google search and you'll see only 1 G with cf hood and another G with front spoiler. Diffuser is so popular they should have them in stock but can't

I seriously hope they get a front splitter for the newer sport bumpers. that would be freaking amazing.

Here is my "ebay" rear diffuser. Fitment was decent but the diffuser curves a little bit sharper than the bumper top to bottom so even with the strongest 3m tape it wouldn't sit completely flush. I ended up drilling and using 2 black zipties in the middle on the far left and right to keep it secure. Looks good to me for much less and without the autokits lead time that seems consistently long. I can take some closer pics at lunch.

I have installed 2 screw behind license plate which can't be seen on the AutokitX rear diffuser for more support on top, 3m tape will separate after time because of heat and water.

@avol3xo Thanks for the feedback! Exactly what I was looking for

@F13SC Good looks. I will probably do this when I go to install mine.

You can see where I added the zipties to keep it from pulling away. Not really noticeable but I've had no issues with it pulling away and the finish has held up well for almost a year.
