I really want this intake to be everything the tuner says it is. But all the tests/comparisons made by the tuner have been biased to show their product in the best of light.

It's like when an auto maker sponsors a showdown and the maker with the turbo car chooses a high altitude location to give their car the edge in performance over n/a cars.

I had to same thought as well. Makes me seriously wonder how much of the gains are attributed to the intake itself. What if they swap intake for gen3's with the right tune; I wonder what numbers that car would make.

And we have no baseline to compare to. We know that every dyno yields different results based on an number of factors.

And we're not even getting into potential downsides either; like how this may impact fuel economy.
How much better and if it's worth upgrading is a relative question from the buyer's perspective. Moncef has the evidence to back his claim over the competitors but ultimately it comes down to the consumer if the marginal gain is worth the incremental cost. Moreso, a buyer who is un-tuned and has to purchase a tune right off the bat to run the intakes.

I think AdminTuning at the very minimum has more direct comparison to its competitors opposed to Stillen , Z1, or Takeda.

Like it has been mentioned in this thread, intakes have been swapped on the same day, same tuner and gains were noted on the same dyno..

We have 1 anecdote and it's from a guy with 2 posts. I'm sorry if that makes me a little skeptical. I've also heard 2 anecdotes of admin not being worth the negligible gains if you already have a long tube CAI.

I honestly don't care if it's true that Admin has more direct comparisons than their competitors. I just care about the results. I would much rather see the comparison done by a neutral party too.

The 350whp car had a bunch of mods, including upper and lower TB. So it has all the supporting mods and it's basically optimal conditions for the intake. I really want to know what whp that car would make without this intake.

the Z1 intakes are not a new product nor is the admintuning intakes. they pretty much get over shadowed by Gen3s because popularity... but both intakes make more than gen3... as posted before z1 made 34hp on their intakes w/ z1 v stacks over stock. admintuning makes more than that on an equivalent build. I did have stillen gen3s with ported TBs, and they were the best combination. then I went to admintuning intakes w/ eps 70mm throttle bodies... even better combination. Im etuned by Jon @ Z1 so i don't have numbers (as many as you all want. most will stop reading here). but the driveability is more responsive and the fact that they deleted the pcv inlet, my intake and TB stay oil free. i recommend you go with admintuning. u won't regret your choice/purchase.

I wonder if there would be any gains by adding the Z1 upgraded filters with velocity stacks to the Admintuning intakes....
