How to unhook AC?

So my radio controls still don't work, only my steering wheel controls do. Since my controls don't work I can't turn off the AC. It's on forever! Is there any cable behind the radio or anything that cuts the AC so when I can plug it in when I really need it? Thanks

Usually when I unplug the battery for a while the AC does not come on until I turn it back on. Also I don't think there is a specific cable for AC controls that whole panel is digital. Probably have to replace the whole thing.

The only way to "unhook" the AC is to disconnect the wire connector AT the AC compressor AND remove the relay for the blower. Must remove both, not one or the other.

As mentioned in a previous thread/reply, try accessing the Diagnostic Menu for the switch panel (Radio/HVAC), but likely that panel will need to be replaced.

Also, in Section HAC (Heater & Air Conditioning) of the FSM ('08 for me) a separate diagnostic procedure is outlined for the HVAC & AC Amp, which might be of some help.
