Ehh possibly. Have seen some 3.0T premium non-sport with under 10k miles anywhere from 36-40k.

Honestly, no. For that sort of money, I would have bought a different car. I thought the car was ok but it lacked many things I was looking for and I knew there'd be very little aftermarket support for the next few years until (if/when) they launch a new Z. If it'd come with more communicative steering, better rear end traction, an improved transmission and a decent exhaust note, I would have been more tempted. But again, for that sort of money, there's a whole lot of competition.

I actually enjoy driving my IPL more than I did the Q60RS. The steering alone is night and day. I do, of course, have mods which helps. My IPL feels like much more of an enthusiast's car than the Q60RS does. That car was, quite frankly, boring.

True, for nearly 40k I rather get into something different altogether. Had a 3.0T as a loaner and you are right about it being boring(minus the turbo, I was impressed). Steering was OK but better after you change its settings in Intouch. Back in the IPL and you feel those bumps lol.

Well the RS is in the mid 50's once you add options, tax, title and license. Assuming you can negotiate off of MSRP. My choice would be to slot in to a well-optioned S3, throw on a larger turbo and related parts and be running low 11's, even high 10's in the 1/4. Or just wait for an RS3, albeit with no options.

I didn't think Europe has Infiniti, just Nissan... in which case they would get the Skyline which has no IPL variant. I could be wrong tho.

They do. Infiniti has been in Europe since 2008. I'm pretty sure I read a UK or European comparison test with the IPL in the mix.

I have to agree with you on that one. I did get to test drive the Q60 RS400 and it was fast as hell and beautiful. But later I was given a Q60 Premium for about a week. It was nice and even with the stated 300hp it felt faster than my IPL. But after a few days, it simply felt like what it was. A loaner car. I missed the sound and sportiness of my IPL, and was very happy to get it back. I think a proper exhaust will go a long way to making the Q60 more fun, but for now I gave them back the keys.
