Cup Holder Won't Close
 

Hey all,

Pretty sure I know the answer to this but I'm in denial and so am asking here anyway.

Couple days ago the girlfriend broke my cupholder door. Instead of pushing down she pulled straight up, twice, :mad: before I had a chance to stop her/ say something. Now it won't close and I'm assuming whatever mechanism serves that purpose is broken. Do I have to go to the dealership for this? I could DIY with some adhesive backed velcro or magnets but that just feels so ghetto-rigged.

Sounds like she hulk smashed it. I doubt you'd need a dealership for the part but it wouldn't be very expensive if you did. Other than rigging it, the little plastic catch piece will have to be replaced.

My rear one won't close either :/
