Invidia is barely stock +1 loudness.

I feel like IPL stock exhaust is actually louder, but I haven't compared side by side. The upside of Invidia is that it's closest to stock tone. I personally think the stock tone is actually the sexiest of them all but it's just kind of anemic. If you get Invidia though, you're getting it for the sound; not performance. I think they claim something like 2-4whp.

^ that's not apples to apples.

You can always swap test pipe.

It sounds much better than stock with a low rumble to it. I drove it for a while without test pipes. It's also louder than stock for sure when you get on it.

Best part is that it has everything. Y-pipe, resonators, x-pipe and mufflers. All while having a mirror finish.

Lets not forget the price if you want to compare apples to apples because it does matter.

Best for those that don't want a loud exhaust and still be heard.

But add test pipes and she really wakes up, lots of video on youtube under G37, 350z & 370z.

What decibel are you at with Invidia + test pipes? That's a weird combo IMO. Going with the loudest cat option and quietest CBE.

Yeah invidia makes your car a true dual exhaust, but I honestly don't think that counts for too much because of the miniscule gains. I guess mirror finish is nice, but you will barely see it. It's not like the muffler looks super nice or anything either.

Price is like $900, right? Still not cheap for the value you get back IMO. I think Invidia's only selling point is to sell to people who REALLY want a CBE but want to keep their car as stock as possible.

For me personally, it doesn't make much sense. I would just get a tanabe/topspeed axelback and call it a day. Both offer more value than invidia.

I want to find someone to swap stock exhaust with my MotorDyne full exhaust system for $1500. Do you guys think this is doable? Why the hell would i do that? I'm going to sell my 2013 G37S graphite :

I thought md only cost like 1.7k new. You’ll probably have more luck at 1k. You’re asking for their stock exhaust too.

Used ark goes for 800ish by itself. To give you some reference. That’s a 1.3k new cbe.

how does an axleback with stock mid and y pipe outperform a full catback? I have stillen cbe with obx resonated tp, i hate it. Its loud and raspy. I just got fi resonated test pipes and am about to order the gemini. I want as much performance as possible with as a sound close to stock, i guess im old and dont need all that noise lol. I guess i need to research those hp numbers because because im not trying to be any slower than i already am!

^ do some research on performance gain from gemini. I'm just operating off of hearsay. People say you don't get much performance out of gemini.

I think you're raspy mostly because of the test pipe. Why don't you get a hfc or just go with stock cats? See if that solves your problem.

Apologies for the n00b: are the Top Speed Axle-back exhausts for the coupe still a thing? I've been searching, and I see posts about "OMG only $285" from less than a year ago, but I can't find them anywhere either in stock or near that price.

Can someone point me in the right direction or suggest an axle-back that is comparable in price/quality?

I'm only looking for something slightly louder and more aggressive than stock and to pair up with my autokitsx diffuser.

Thanks for any help!
