Used car advice: 2010 g37x vs 2011 g37x
Hi guys!
I am quite new to infinitis and would like some advice. I am currently at looking to buy a g37x coupe but not sure what year I should look for. I am trying to budget myself at $18,000 - $20,000 and hopefully to have one that can last for a good 4 years. I am looking at a g37x 2010 at $16,000 about 100,000 km (do you think it can last 4 years without much repairs?) Do infiniti ride well when its over 100,000 km? I know 2011 has fog lights but if I go with the 2010, how much would it take to get fog lights installed? Wondering if I should look at a 2011 and spend around $22,000-$25,000? Are there any other changes from 2010 to 2011 I should know about that might sway my options? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update! Currently I am debating on these few options (coupes): Please let me know which option is best if I want to maybe put a few mods on it and hope it can last for 4-5 years. Only thing I am hesitant to buy the 2010 is probably because I like the 2011 bumper more. Which do you guy think I should go with? 1. $15,000 CAD 2010 G37x with 99,000km. +$600 bumper scratch fix (Tan interior) 2. $22,000-$25,000 2011-2012 G37x//G37xs with 60,000km-80,000km Option 2 are just average prices I see in dealerships. Thanks guys! |

The 2010 to 2011 front swap will be pricey, new bumper, headlights, fog lights etc. not worth it. The 2010 has the fog lights integrated into headlights FYI. I would go for the 2011 for the front end it looks much better in my opinion. But it all depends how well both are kept up and mileage too

2010 does have fog lights (i own 1).. 2009 doesn't
2010 & 2011 are pretty much the same... i think 2012 & 2013 too... |

I can't see your links to see, I personally would go for black interior, they look so much nicer in my opinion, these cars are pretty reliable too make sure you get a pre purchase inspection tho

I recently got a 2013 G37x coupe for 24k and it had 20,000 miles. Not sure where you live but check Car Gurus for good deals in your area. I had to wait for the right deal before I pulled the trigger. Just enter in your zip and whalla. Good luck!

From the 2 that you provided I'd definitely go for option 2 and also about the tan interior trust me if you want black get black. Tan gets dirty easily. Also option 2 has the awd sports package... better wheels better suspension better bumper better car. Also the 2010 version also has foglights but they are bedded in the headlights rather then on the lower bumper. Over all the 2nd option is better. Less mileage is a huge thing. You don't want to start out in a car with high mileage bc you never know how much it's been through.
