Q60 Final Teaser - Revealed in Detroit
#3526
I saw that review. The guys front seat is a a 90' angle, lol. I'm 6'6" and headroom was not an issue at all when I took a test drive. Just leaned the seat back slightly, exactly as I did when I had a G coupe. Now, no one will be sitting behind me, but that's not really my concern, lol.

It disappointing that Infiniti didn't include a sport muffler on the RS. The $700 "sport muffler kit" that is available for the Q50 and Q70 sounds so much better. It will be an accessory for the coupe in a hurry I'm sure.

Looked up turbo part numbers. Intercooler are the same part number. Turbos are 2 different part numbers but they are only off by one digit. Based off the diagram, it appears the sensors are the only things that make them different. But wait, sensors have there own part number and can be had for 280 a piece.
So what I am trying to figure out is do the Turbos have a special housing for the sensor on the and that's is what I'm seeing on the diagram.
Z1 list both turbos and state that the RS have the sensor. My findings show diffrently.
Still looking to see where the 2nd water pump goes and what all is needed for it to work.

Those don't do anything with the new 3.0t for sound sadly. Stillen and FI have made new exhaust specifically for the 3.0t engines.

Any guesses as to when things will show up on the market? Whether straight after market, or through the dealerships.

Well sure. I was just more saying that there would be an option through Infiniti that would enhance the tone a bit, whomever the manufacturer may be. Not unlike what is offered for the other 2 models now. I mean, the g37 had a sport exhaust option, right? So it only makes sense we'll see something.

It should be made by Fujitsubo.
Putting Stillen on a Japanese car is like putting American racing wheels on a BMW. No bueno.
You don't see Mustang owners hopping on Greddy exhausts. Visit any Muscle Car forum. They trash import stuff on their muscles cars. Just saying.
Also, I would avoid any of those started from the home garage performance exhaust companies and wheels shops. (iForged, etc etc).

Anyone know who manufactured the sport exhaust you could purchase through Infiniti for the G37?
I'll be leasing, so would like to keep the exhaust Infiniti branded.

STILLEN (Steve Millen Sportparts, Inc.) is the automotive aftermarket parts company created by Steve Millen, a former racecar driver for Nissan who was known for racing the 300ZX
I thought Nissan was a Japanese car, no? I would like to think he knows their engines somewhat and qualified to provide aftermarket parts to get the most out of it.
