i dont know what you are talking about. the crescent tapered at the end is a nice touch in my opinion, it accents the aero form of the coupe. The smooth elegant curve ending in a sharp, pointed tapering. I dont think Infiniti was copying the Genesis, its a signature design relative to all their other cars as well.
the 60's design also looks newer and much more aggressive than the 35's. especially the front, and the tail lamps are sharper and more elegant as opposed to the broad structure on the 35.

The current Infiniti exterior design language was heavily influenced from the 2009 Infiniti Essence Concept and to a lesser degree, the 2011 Etherea Concept. Going forward, Infiniti will incorporate the design language from those two aforementioned concepts along with the 2012 Emege-e concept, the 2014 Q80 Inspiration, and the 2016 QX Sport Inspiration.
Infiniti enthusiasts, although few in numbers, should know this and that the current crop of Infiniti cars borrowed no other design language other than its own. This no truer statement even if other makes bear resemblance to some of the current crop of Infiniti cars.
And there is no relatable C-Pillar kink in the GC you mentioned...if the kink was borrowed from anyone, it would be the Bimmer Hofmeister Kink....

Guess they cracked the ECU on the 300 hp TT.
First ever silver sport 3.0tt tuned - Infiniti Q50 Forum
Numbers look good but there is something about "throwing belts". My only guess is would be drive belts? I dont see why those would be a weaker point unless the Red Sport has a thinker belt. I know the Red Sport would have a longer belt because I assume the 2nd water bump would be belt driven.
But hey, the ECU is cracked, thats a start!

"We’re obviously not a traditional luxury brand. We’re providing a different offering and not trying to be everything to everyone; rather, we want to be everything to some. In that way we’re more of a niche brand."
I've always felt that once you've come to know Infiniti (specifically the G)and identity it's a fit for you, one will be quite likely to be brand loyal.
It's why we all appreciate what the G had to offer.
But with the Q60, we are all having to reacquaint ourselves with the brand.
It's a risk for brand loyalty- but they've kept just enough of the elements that made the G successful that they just might pull this off.

There is a reason Infiniti put that in the RS.
But to your point- at least we know the ECU can be hacked

Good news is that, it appears we don't have to wait to long as development is moving along swiftly. Kinda glad I'm not buying the first Red Sport we get next month. Gotta see which model is the better play In the long run.

Yeah, idk. Long term that's what's going to matter. Is the 300hp going to run to hot when bumping up the boost? And now that some one has gotten into the ECU, how long before companies like Uprev have a tune?

I also believe that reliability will depend strongly on how much you push the car to the limits. I think if you track this thing it may spend a considerable amount of time in the shop.

I guess the reason why they are charging more for RS is mostly try and see what goes wrong and in the mean time don't lose money because I don't think what they did to the car justifies 7K difference.

There appears to be a lot more information available on it than there was with the release of the Q50.
I just think that there are a few items that we all wished the Q60 RS had that it doesn't have and many are focusing on that as opposed to looking at what the Q60 really does bring to the table.
