Q60 Final Teaser - Revealed in Detroit

"On January 13, you're going to see a concept car that's very, very, very, very close to the next Q60," Albaisa told Motor Trend. There isn't much to go on beyond that, sadly, although we are free to speculate."
Every one knows Infiniti does 2 kinds of concepts, 95% of the time they are the Inspiration Concepts, that are radical and never become product, merely influences. Then the other 5% that become the product 8-11 months after they are reviled.
Infiniti's Detroit concept to be 'very, very, very, very close' to new Q60 - Autoblog
Either way, i'm gunning to be one of the first to get one.
Update 12/12/2014
Until now, the Infiniti Q60 has been one of the brand's holdovers from its old naming scheme and previous design ethos, as a rebadged G37 Coupe. Those times are coming to an end though, because we are getting our first glimpse at a Detroit Auto Show-bound concept that previews the next-gen two-door.
Infiniti's freshly released teaser shows the sport coupe concept in shadowy silhouette. Based on this photo, we can see that the Q60's design features delicately swooping lines with a touch of hard-edged contrast coming from sharp creases in the body. Portions of it, especially towards the rear, bring a little of the Q80 Inspiration from the Paris Motor Show to mind.
A previous rumor suggests this shape is very close to the actual design of the production version. Infiniti subtly reiterates that in its release by saying the concept foreshadows the styling we might see in future products from the luxury automaker. Scroll down to read the concise announcement for the Q60 concept.

When they announced the Q50, I guessed a list of changes/options that would be on the Q50. I think I got 60% of them right. I am doing it again for the new Q60.
1. Will be offered in 2 modles, Premium and Sport
2. Offered in RWD/AWD
3. Offered in 7 speed Auto or 6MT (obviously only the RWD Sport will be 6MT)
4. 2 Engine Options, 2.0T & 3.0T (2.0 will be MB sourced & built in Tenn, 3.0 is Infiniti) will make it to other models Q50/Q30/QX30 1st
5. Expect DAS as a option in a package.
6. Nav Package, Deluxe Touring, Tech Packages as options.
7. Sports will not get Tech Package or DAS.
8. Expect 300 HP again but 2950lbs+ TQ Rumors have it that it will be 400hp+, torque up 350
9. Convertible to follow shortly after.
10. Convertible will be hard top with AWD.
11. Will be lighter, by use of Aluminum. They have to if they want the Convertible to have AWD.
12. Price increase of $1000-$1500 for base but tops out in the mid 50s.
13. Expect an Eau Rouge variant ( hopefully the resurrect the IPL name properly)
14. Looks will be different than Q50.
15. I bet I get half of these right
16. I strongly think we will have a 3rd body style, like another coupe

I love my coupe, my second one. If it is similar to what I have currently, I'll be at the beginning of the line. My biggest fear is that they will raise the price significantly and/or make everything optional and do what Porsche is doing and charge an arm and a leg for the options. So a car that starts at $45k will be $60k with typical options.

New 2016 Q60 Coupe Teaser Image Released
Wow this looks interesting. I cant wait to see the whole thing.
I see some big wheels and what seems to be long side vents on the front quarter. Like the shape though. The back certainly seems longer than the current version.
Like it or hate it?

I was thinking the same thing, but if this new one will be a 3.0T- the tuning options will open a whole new door to fun. Prior to the G I had an Audi that was tuned etc.. I really miss the pull of a turbo, if I can get that with the G i'm sold.
