Painted my headlight housings myself, these were the results..

Hey guys! So I decided to paint my own headlight housing just by simply following step by step directions to save me about $600-$800 and I believe it came out pretty well! I am no mechanic by any means, I just simply followed step by step directions on a forum on this website, AMAZING!! It took about 6 hours for everything. Now, some of you may not like the amber that I left, I was going for the new Q60 IPL light design, which keeps the amber and the housing is black. I simply spray painted the housing black, that's it. I wanted the stock look. Please let me know what you guys think! Next up, install the IPL bumper with the CF outcast splitter!

Looks nice
Your whole G is looking real clean.
Did you change out the lens to a TSX lens while you had them opened up?
If not, be sure to do it if you ever get back into them again, makes a huge difference.

Thank you Blnewt!! Ahhhhhhh I know I was suppose to put the TSX lenses!! Everyone says so, but unfortunately I didn't I will definitely next time I open them up. I did this job with a $6.50 can of satin black Krylon and some elbow grease. I will definitely install the TSX lenses soon though!

Good job. It's not hard...I've done it twice...just tedious. Motoboat - do it. Enhances the look and while you're at it take some of the brightness off of the taillights too. Give them a dusting of a couple of light coats (different paint then here) and clear and you'll like the look. DIYs in this and other forums.

Looks clean, get the midnight grille with the money you saved. Or buy some gloss clear coat. Grille looks to flat
