G37 Grounding Kit ... Stillen G37x ?
Hi Well i've been doing so much reading on Grounding kits and here are there results.
From this forum i gather the consensus:
1. Grounding kits work wonders for automatic transmissions
2. They can cause issues with your battery not being able to charge sufficiently."for some"
I have a 09 G37x Coupe , and have been looking at this kit in particular
STILLEN Grounding Kit - Red Wires 606358R | STILLEN
Installation wise , i think it should be simple but there guide is horrible pictures.
I found one guide posted on this forum but i'm not sure if it applies to my 09 because his is an 08...

Any Advise in terms of doing this on my G37x 7 A/T ?
or installation advise ?
Blackbetty Doesn't make kits anymore otherwise i would have just gone with his.
Thank You

im pretty sure installation is the same for 08 and 09. have you cheked out this diy? super simple and around a third of the cost of the stillen one.

ive also read good things about the gordon gee grounding kits. you might want to check them out too if you dont want to diy. might be cheaper than the stillen ones.

I notice many people use Red cable for grounding kits. DIY and on line. In general terms though, a red wire on a car is a hot wire. just for safety sake shouldn't the grounding kit wires be blue, or black, or anything but red? Don't want someone mistaking it down the road.

Just installed Stillen battery grounding kits on my 2013 g37x 7AT. (Red Wires 606358R | STILLEN)
- Throttle response is quicker.
- Shift smoother and quicker.
- Speakers become louder and clearer.
This is the best update I have ever done.
