2008 g37 coupe warranty ending
My 2008 g37, that was bought brand new, bumper to bumper warranty will be up on march 1. I was wondering if there is anything specific I should have checked by dealer in the next week before the warranty is up. I have noticed some peeling on the steering wheel so I will have them look at that but if there is anything else that is common, let me know.

The steering wheel was the last thing I did. I didn't really think of anything else, but of course a few things came to mind after my warranty ended.
If you have the turn signal on for a right turn and move the steering wheel slightly in that direction, there will be a click sound that doesn't happen to the other side. Most noticeable when getting on a offramp. the part that causes this is called the clock spring.
When braking there is so some slop in my seat rails. My dads G is the same. I'm not sure if they have better spec'd rails but the few mm of slop is kind of annoying when braking hard.
Didn't really have anything else. Been a great car.

I guess you could just do a look over of your car, see if its making any strange noises. Check for brake judder, any strange noises coming from the exhaust (as the baffles can fail), chips on the steering, seat bubble, and I think there was also a TSB for the battery.
I'd also have them looked at anything warped or any annoying rattle.

Since this is an '08, probably all you have left is the powertrain warranty. There have been some reflashes of the pcm for hesitation. If your car hesitates from a stop, I would check and see if this has been done. I replaced the steering wheel piece on my '08 G37S. I bought it for $30 on eBay and did it myself. Pretty simple diy, and the instructions are on this site.

Thank you everyone for the input. The car was bought brand new on feb 28th 2009 so 4 year warranty is just about up. Brought it in today and had the steering wheel trim replaced. Other than that the car is in good condition.

I'm going tomorrow if so! I had wanted to get the CF Bezel that one of the
Vendors here custom builds, but if dealer is replacing show me pics...
