A way to hide odometer reading?

Hey guys, a new owner of G37 here. I was wondering if there is an option to not see the odometer reading at all times.

Additionally, is it not possible for us to slide the front seats forward and backward manually not using the motor?

Thanks!

haha...unfortunately there's no way to hide the odometer reading at all times...although you could just switch to trip a or b. as for the sliding of seats, when you pull the little lever at the top of each seat, that little black rubber button can be pushed to automatically move either chair forward or backwards. i've noticed that the seats need to be pulled forward though prior (via lever - as if letting someone out of the back seats)

Thanks for your reply. I just wanted to know if I can manually slide the seat forward because I don't want to not be able to have passenger in the back if the motor breaks for some reason..

So there is no way to manually slide the seats?

I have to admit... this is a pretty unique question. You must have high miles or something... lol. Don't be ashamed, bro!

Thanks for your replies. SO what happens when the seat moving motor breaks and you need to get into the back seat in a coupe?

Only way is to get the motor fixed?

Depending on the age and mileage of your car, do not worry about the seat motors failing. It is unlikely that they will fail abruptly. If these motors do fail, I would think you will notice a decrease in the speed with which they move. I would simply forget about that happening. If they do fail, I am sure that the rear passanger will be able to climb out by stepping on (over) the console.

I would only put someone in the back if they were either a child or someone who was desprate for a ride.

Just enjoy the car. BTW was the car CPO?

Climb over or through the center of the front seats to get out .... then get it fixed.
