Gears Scratch/Grind When Shifting Gears

I think our tranny is just rough. Its hard to say without sitting in the car and having you driving it, but if it makes you feel better take it in. If anything it will just calm your nerves.

I swear I keep hearing a bearing noise, but from what I understand that's just how this transmission is.

I have the same issue with my 2010 6mt. I basically have to granny shift into 5th to not grind.

I still grind at times going to 2nd (it isnt as bad as before) and 2/3/5 are clunky at times too

I changed my transmission oil and the clunkiness was minimized. But this made the 5th gear grind worse, it would grind no matter how I shifted. So since there is no way that the dealer can deny this, I brought it in. 3 days later new tranny installed, everything is fine now.
