How many miles can a G37S coupe take?

I got 56K miles on my 08 G37s Coupe. How many more miles do you think this thing can take?

Also g37s are my favorite cars. Once I'm done with this one. I'm probably going to get another. Anyone else feel this way?

VQs are one of the best engines and you have nothing to worry, there are members here with well over that amount of miles and cars are as solid as day one. Just make sure you take care of the car and it will last forever, almost

If you take care of your G it will last forever. Some members of the g35 have already hit 200k and still running great

I've seen quite a few G35s come in with 150,000+ and still run great and just in for routine maintenance.

It'd be cool to see some pics of actual odometers showing high mileage. Not that I don't believe it, I myself had a '93 Maxima which I bought used with about 175K miles and sold it with 225K miles, no problems WHATSOEVER, and drove it pretty fast, I had the speedometer needle bouncing at 125 mph (the limit on the speedometer) as I was going faster than that!

Most cars are electronically limited to 130. What was the Maxima limited to or did you remove it?

Rdline probably has the most admitted miles on this forum. I believe well over 100k. I have also drove a g35 with 216k and wouldn't have known the dif from my 35 at the time with 20k

No I didn't remove anything. I didn't have the SE model, so my speedometer's highest reading was 125. I remember hitting that and I knew I was going faster than that because the speedometer needle kept bouncing...lol. But as you said, I probably hit the limit.

Funny thing is, I drove that old car faster than I ever driven my G37...weird. Maybe I was younger back then and didn't think things through too much.

So if I want it to last awhile. Should I not gun it every chance I have?

My 08 is about to reach 52K, and absolutely no problems with anything. I'm quite happy with it. Except for the bubbly seats and little cosmetic things here and there that don't hinder its performance. It's a really nice car and like many here, I miss it whenever I have to drive another car...

Gun it and have fun! Just make sure it's warmed up first and keep clean fluids in it.

i just sold an 06 FX35 with almost 60k miles, it drove better than a brand new one i test drove before purchasing it. these cars are very strong and very solid, even the interior was still pristine in my car when it was sold.
