What basic maintenance procedures are you doing?
Hey all, just bought a 2009 G37s and loving it. It was 27,300 miles out the door, and I already put 1,000 on it approximately. What basic engine maintenance should I be performing?
Here is what I already understand: oil change and oil filter replacement every 3,750 miles.
Brake pads when needed.
Rotate tires every 7,000 miles.
What else should I be keeping track of as the miles pile up? How often should I change transmission fluid?
Thank you for all your help, I appreciate it.

It depends on your driving patterns. Are you babying it or driving aggressively? Hwy vs local? If you look in your manual, it'll list a couple different service intervals. But since you bought the car used it might not have it.

What do the maintenance records say?
If the rear differential fluid hasn't been changed, it wouldn't hurt to do it.
Brakes should be flushed every 2 years to maintain peak performance.
Cabin air filter each year / 15k
ATF is "life", although you can probably get a dealer to do it for you.
MT has a DIY and would be a good idea on a used car to change out immediately.
The maintenance manual has all the recommendations and past history for your car. Check it and report back if you'd like to discuss.

I follow what is in the users manual. Already did my brake flush. My rear diff flush. I work on everything expect for major engine problems. I try to avoid the stealership.
Since your's is used I would do everything ASAP and follow your manual from there.
