Swamped with work, but here are the important pics:

Removal of old console, see:
http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/G37/Coupe/2008/IP.pdf

Installation of new console, see:
http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/G37/Coupe/2010/IP.pdf

There are minimal differences install wise, except for at the 'rear' of the console where there is the mounting bracket (looks like an H). I removed the 2008 one from my car and actually had the 2010 one on order, but zip ties to the base where the old bracket was worked really well.

As previously mentioned, the analog connector no longer reaches to the new location on the center console, but it's easy enough to wire in some new cables to the panel leaving the connector under the console (on my to-do list)

I removed the USB connector from the media panel and dremeled a hole big enough for the 2008 iPod connector. Held in place pretty well, but used epoxy to be sure. Don't get epoxy on the bottom as the cover for the connector moves in a couple of channels there.

The heater switches ... well as you can see in the pics, I dremeled those out from underneath, and added some plastic channel I picked up at the hobby store to make sure the 2008 switch fitted correctly.

I'll write more later, but wanted to get this up for now. Sorry for the delay.

So here's the finished deal - a 2010 console assembly in a 2008. I love it, it works so much better than the old one. When the finisher panel came in, I realized I had to get the radio panel too as the difference in finish was a little much for me - I found one for $135 on ebay. It's not perfect, but it works - plus I got to cover up that useless CF card slot too!

Just following up ... one thing I didnt do was wire in the front 12v plug since the connectors are different. I fixed this recently, pretty easily by snipping the old connector off the old shifter and adding it to the 12v plug with new connectors. Picture should make more sense than what I just wrote! Easy to plug in and out now like the old one.

Nice job!

I am curious though. Would you have been able to use the dial **** style heated seat switches instead, or are you forced to use the 08 toggle switches? I would do this if it was possible to use the dial **** as I'm a fan of them instead of the toggle switch.

Nope, the switches are completely different and even the wiring harnesses that plug into the heater elements are different. I spent waaaay too much time researching this beforehand Everyone I spoke to said it wouldnt work (people also said I couldnt put a '10 console in an '08, but I tend to believe the heater switch part)
