Hello folks,

I did quite a bit of search on MyG37.com but I cannot seem to find a definitive answer as to whether the 275/35/19 sized tire can fit on the OME rear rim; meaning I wouldn't need to purchase a pair of rims just for those tires.

It appears to be the case that I can fit 245/40/19 tires for the front and 275/35/19 tires for the rear with no other adjustments (aside from the usual wheel balancing) to the vehicle or having to buy new parts at all. Am I under the correct assumption?

I am also a newbie (as you can tell) to this forum so any other tips/advises for getting a pair of new tires will be much appreciated!

Personally I wouldnt put such a wide tire on the front or the rear. Your going to have a mushroom look. If you want a wider tire get a set of wheels. I run a 285 in the rear but with a 10.5 inch rear tire. Your stocks are only 9 inches. But other then that you shouldnt have any rubbing issues.

275/35/19 looks awesome on the stocks..My buddy has those with 20mm spacers and sits really nice.

any pics of this? I was thinking of doing the same, just powder coating the oem rims and putting some wider tires on.

Is he running them at all four corners? So he didn't have a staggered set up to start? Just curious if you could clairify just a bit. Thanks in advance.

I'm running OEM rims,275-35-19 rear with a 15mm spacer, and 245-40-19 fronts with a 20mm spacer. Looks Perfect.

BTW, i just refinished these rims myself using duplicolor silver wheel paint. I had curb rash on every single rim. Sanded the rims with 150 grit, then 300 grit, sprayed 3 coats of paint, 2 coats of clear.

Im running 275/40 on oem wheels with eibach and 20mm spacers. It rubs only going over big dips.

Looks nice! I was thinking about running the Z tires on the G as I am putting new shoes on it. Those are the stock sizes of the Z.

No rub, it just looked too tucked in without spacers. I'm dropped on Eibach Pro Springs.

275-40-19 is way too big. Almost an inch higher than 275-35-19, plus your speedometer will have wrong readings. I recommend 275-35, no rub and matches the OEM profile.
