Can someone explain to me what it actually does? My car(2013) already has a cover over the key-hole stock. Is that abnormal? If this is simply a replacement cover how does it stop anybody from popping it off? It's just a little piece of plastic no?

I'm wondering the same thing. Is this just a cover or does it actually remove the keyhole on the driver side door?

There's plenty of people who have purchased the part and performed the delete. I just placed an order for one today as well. Called and checked everywhere and the best price I found shipped to me was from Sergio from OC Infiniti. His screen name here on the forum is Ray@OCInfiniti. If your in the market for the part, I highly recommend sending him a PM for a quote. He had the best price overall as my local dealerships were trying to charge me $55+.

Thanks Sergio and OC Infiniti!!

Installation notes: taking off the cover was not a problem but I don't know how some members were able to just snap on the new cap cover without problem. Mine would not click! No matter how much I aligned it and hard I pushed (carefully of course), it would not click. I've read that some people just left there's this way and although it wouldn't fall off, I could tell that it was not in all the way.

What I did was remove the black rubber cover on the side of the door, unscrewed the 5/32" hex screw (don't worry, the screw will not fall into the door panel as there is something holding it in place), and pull out the key hole assembly. Once the assembly is out (you can literally pull the whole thing out), it was a quick snap and click and the cover was in all the way.

An excellent idea!!! Perhaps we should get kenny on it, LOL. We'll ALL have them by the end of the week....

Except I didn't find A54 as an option on OC's post on Amazon....

It's only a $30 part. A group buy seems excessive. Just order one from your local dealer...
