Brakes squeal when I reverse?

Welcome to one of the few pain in the "you know what" for our cars. My coupe had this problem on the '08 and was fixed after the TBS. My '11 is a bigger pain though. The TBS didn't fix it. I got my brakes cleaned during every oil change and it helps alleviate the squeal for a week or so. Then it goes right back to squealing when braking in reverse. Like the others above me have stated, it mainly happens in the morning. Although recently, I've been hearing it once in awhile when I brake coming to a red light.
I've gone so many times to the dealership for this issue that I got a note from Infiniti stating that issue is being looked at but currently if the TSB doesn't help, then there is nothing they can do.
Really makes me think if I even do decide to get a G again, to maybe step up to the S model b/c I really don't want to go through this issue again.

What's more sad is all the people here with the S and IPL are having the same problem too. Makes me really think twice about my next lease. I love our cars but you're telling me a $40K+ car can't get rid of the squeals? I don't have any evidence of other high end cars having this issue but I know this time around I'll definitely have to look around at other companies instead of just swapping to a newer year.

Unfortunately for me, it's annoying enough to whine about it. I hate the fact it will squeal when reversing even after a few hours of 40-50 degree weather.

took my car in 3 times already (08 not S) and each time they resurface my brake pads and say it should fix it, nope doesn't fix it, this last time i took it in for the TSA and that worked for 4 days but I live in San Diego where the cold weather isn't really a factor, most mornings i start my day at 65 degrees so i think it's just horrible manufactoring on Infinitis part, my buddys 370Z doesn't do this...

My 08 S with 27k miles does it every morning when pulling out of the drive way. Nothing to worry about, other than the annoying squealing on what's supposed to be a somewhat premium car but no worries, once the two piece rotors and new pads go in it will hopefully go away. I hope lol.

I got my 2008 G37S used just a few months ago. The brakes squealed every time when I backed out from the garage when it's cold and also sometimes when its been parked somewhere for awhile. But recently during a car wash, I bough a specific wheel cleaner for the first time (Autoglym Clean Wheels) which removes the contaminants from the wheels and brakes and after the product was applied and I finished washing my car, the brakes seems to have been stuck as if the wheel cleaner dissolved too much of the calipers or pads. Normally, the car would move without giving gas but after the wheel cleaner wash, I had to give it a little gas for the car to move. But to my surprise, the brakes no longer squealed after this wash so I think the contaminants may be causing or amplifying the squeal.
It has been ~2 weeks since I applied the wheel wash and the beaks still don't squeal. So I think this might be a cheap and fast solution for you guys to try out!

Like the many who have experienced this above me, I also deal with this issue. Usually only occurs in the morning as I am pulling out in reverse from my driveway.
I had this checked by the dealer multiple times and the pads and rotors were perfectly fine. So I was told nothing is wrong. I have just lived with it at this point. Like many, once it warms up, it's no longer an issue.

I just sprayed from the outside with the wheel still on. But I made sure to spray into the brakes (both caliper and rotor) from the openings in the wheel. I also specifically sprayed into where the caliper contacts the rotor (where the calipers grab the rotor). I let it sit for about ~4 minutes before spraying off and it was about ~40minutes before I moved the car

I'm sure it's the OEM pads! I mean for infiniti not to realise there's a problem is a big deal, but for a company specialised in making premium aftermarket sports brakes and pads, I'm sure they would've tackled such an issue...My 08 S's pads also squeel first thing in the morning when I'm reversing, and slightly later on when I'm stopping at a red light, but hardly enough to annoy me and complain about it honestly. Though I asked the infiniti garage about it, n not much of a surprise they said it's normal. I'm considering some aftermarket sports brake pads, but i'm not sure which way I should go...any suggestions?
