OK, so where did you find this price? Is it OEM or aftermarket OE like the eBay versions

Lining up templates

Second of all, I actually just received and installed mine over the weekend. Took about two hours but I was being super careful because since you're drilling holes, if you get it wrong, there's no going back. Don't take it to the dealer. Mine didn't recommend that I install it myself because it required a "special" drill bit, which is BS. They wanted to charge me 2+ hours for installation too.

When I installed my spoiler, it came with little stickers (yes, stickers) to cover up the old holes from the chrome spoiler.

Since you mentioned that you've installed a lip, I'd assume that it's somewhat similar. Just take your time when lining up the template and you'll be fine. GL.
hey I just got my oem decklid with camera hole just dropped it off for paint cause I got it in blue slate from
the dealer for $175 shipped and $80 for paint from a local shop in kh3 obsidian black. Just wondering I’ve changed clutched engines swaps... etc. is lining the up the deck lids that hard I got the templates and can I use regular titanium drill bits or should I go buy new ones. I have the directions and one of the drill bits says a whole saw drill bit. Please and thanks

Titanium bits should be fine. I haven't done it myself but I can only imagine if it's saying use a hole saw bit that's because it's a larger hole so unless you have a bit that size you may have to get a hole saw bit. If I were you I'd see what the local shop will charge to install.

DIY would be nice on this.

RECOMMENDATION: whenever you're preparing to drill into metal, use a punch to create a slight pilot divot. Cover that with tape, then rest the drill bit in that impression so the first turns of your bit don't skip around the surface and ruin the surrounding paint. That way you'll have a flawless hole with minimal distress to its surroundings.

And hey, if you do make a bonehead move and biff your trunk lid, you can always buy another one. Life goes on.

Don't be fooled. It is not as easy as some have suggested. Obviously, the drilling is the hardest part. The holes are pretty big and make sure you have the right drill bits for metal surfaces. Oh, and double check that the provided template is correct and the holes line up with the spoiler. (I bought OEM spoiler from Infiniti and installed it at home, with the help of my brother.) Good Luck!
