What's the best way to get around 400 hp the cheapest way

What's the best way to get around 400 hp the cheapest way

I have a '08 g37s coupe and im looking to get my car a performance boost, but don't feel like spending more than 2 grand max. i've been told to get headers, catback, intake, filters. anyone know the cheapest and/or best places places to get these and other things i can do???

There is no way you will make 400hp with two grand.

With those bolt on's and a tune the most your looking at is a little over 300 whp. BTW headers don't really do anything. good luck though.

I want 500hp with 1k but it ain't hapenning lol the most you'll get it in the 300 range to the wheels, I'd say max 330

well i mean the way i looked at is:
headers 10-15 hp
intake 15hp
headers 20hp
chip 50-70hp
which comes out to over 100 hp. definitely can be done. but my point is i dont wanna pay more than i have to. cuz most ppl in this forum seem to pay way more than they have to just cuz ppl prefer them. im just looking for the right places with the right prices

hahah my bad. i meant catback. buy i know it can, its just i want to get the best bang for my buck...which is hard to find :/

You obviously have a bit to learn. You can't just add up the HP like that. Plus those numbers are fairly exaggerated. Like I said, it can't be done for that price. But have fun trying
