I'd say just try cleaning the TBs first since it's quick and cheap.

Quick update

Guys I went to the dealer today
And well I had the same rpm dropping issue . However I didn't go there for that reason I went for the TSM AND ECM upgrade flash.

Well the transmission is buttery smooth AND guys the rpm isn't dropping anymore it's perfectly idling )))))

Awesome , people experiencing the problem why don't you guys go try it out.

Apprently when they reset ECM it re calibrates the amount of air being taken from the air intakes so perhaps a reset is all that's needed WORKED FOR ME

I had been dealing with the rpm drop since I got my car more than a year ago. Nothing too bad, but just kind of annoying.

I reset the ECU once by letting the battery drain and that did not help.

I got an oil change yesterday and asked for a throttle body cleaning (came with the fuel system tune up) and that seems to have fixed my issue. Like others have posted... throttle body cleaning seems to work.

I never said to reset ecu lol have your ECM and tcm re-calibrated

I believe from many member posts the tv cleaning is temporary and the problem will re occur I stumbled on my finding but sheer accident. But my dealer updated and reset my ECM and TCM and my idling problem was solved

Ugh. Just cleaned my TBs and reset the ECM manually using the gas pedal method and it didn't fix my low idle. Unlike most on here, mine is consistently at 500rpms. Manual states 650 +/- 50, so this is definitely abnormal. Warranty just expired. Frustrated.

I read this thread today and noticed I had the same problem. Always assumed it was the A/C. Cleaned the throttle bodies and now it runs like a champ. It used to idle at 900 and drop to around 450 when sitting at a light. Now it idles at around 1050 and no more dropping and shaking at lights.

Not sure if this was directed to me... but I never said you directed me to do anything. I am just chiming in and letting the OP know what solved my issue. I commented after you did, but my response was not directed at you.

I am still going strong and smooth- no RPM dips experienced and this was 2+ months ago.

Idle Issue

I just picked up a 2011 CPO and I've got the idle issue. Stopping by the dealer this week and referencing this post in the hope that they will clean the throttle bodies without too much grief as I already complained about this - before reading this thread - and they said they couldn't find anything, it was normal.

Anyone have this issue after the 2011 model year?

Dip

Clean the Throttle bodies. That did it for me immediately , for the same problem. Even increased MPG a bit. DIY is here or online. Be gentle, use a microfiber cloth with CRC..only disconnect the hoses and the actual 4 screws on each. Do not remove any wiring or harnesses. About a 45 minute job if you never did it...20 minutes with experience.Do not force the brass looking butterfly valves. Take the rag and clean each side...push them gently to get it clean at top and bottom. Do not force open.

Still going strong 1 year now

I went for the TSM AND ECM upgrade flash a year ago. With no TB Cleaning and my Coupe is riding and idling perfectly at stops and no dipping
