Analog Clock Stuck in "Demo Mode"?

Hey everyone, I just picked up my G37x Coupe, (Premium, w/o Navi) this past Saturday. As the salesperson was going over the car during delivery, he noticed that the analog clock was still in "demo mode", and that he'd have to fix that for me before I drove off. Needless to say, we both forgot about the clock, and I'm stuck with a clock in the "1:17" position. I could obviously take it back to the dealership, but I'd rather take of this on my own.

I've scoured google and searched this forum to no avail. Sorry if I've missed it, but I have to ask for some help from my fellow G37 drivers.

Thanks!!!

Just push the buttons shown in the owner's manual.

Why would an analog clock have a demo mode? And why would it be in 1:17 for this demo mode? I don't see the point.
Sorry not answering your question, but like G4me says, check the owners manual.

I've done that. They don't respond. The clock is permanently at 1:17.

I read a blurb somewhere about cars being in "Transport Mode". I don't know if that's what the salesperson meant... But I still can't find a way around that.

Remove the sticker then.. lol

Or try this.. Put your blinker and windshield wiper arms all the way to the down positions. There may also be a white fuse down by the kick panel that isn't pushed in all the way. Push that in as well. Then start the car. Your clock will then work.

Do a forum search. The problem lies on a fuse, it's intentionally turned off to avoid battery drainage.

Chico: Thank you. It was the fuse.

G4me: Thank you as well for forwarding the info from the "Fixya" article.

Problem solved!
