Looks like I have the Rainex ones on mine. They fit good and work well but in my past experience with them on my Accord, they don't last very long.
Also, and I didn't notice this until the other day when I was given a brand new G37 loaner, I noticed that the OEM blade sets were much lower profile. Mine stick up above the hoodline, however, the OEM's are almost flush and the arm attaches alongside the blade rather than on top of it. David |
After 75,000kms later my 08 OEM blades still work fine lol. Maybe cause I dont use it much but I took it out of hybernation today and everything seemed perfect.

I want to share my experience with OEM wiper blades and Rain-X blades. Summary:
- OEM wore out a bit after two years - Replaced them with Rain-X Latitude blades - Rain-X lasted two years, back to OEM One thing folks don't take into consideration is the look of after-market wiper blades. The bottom line is that after-market look bad and OEM look good. Note the photos below. This is on my 2009 G37 Sedan: With Rain-X Latitude blades, taken from driver's seat: Attachment 156508 With OEM blades, taken from driver's seat (please excuse rain drops!): Attachment 156509 Photo of OEM blade, outside of car: Attachment 156510 These are the blades I purchased - top is driver's side, bottom is passenger side. They were crazy expensive at the dealer (Sewell Infiniti Dallas), $31.18 for the drivers side and $18.34 for the passenger: Attachment 156511 Those two blades can be bought online here, for less money: Driver's side (left) blade: http://www.infinitipartsusa.com/Item...654-224689.htm Passenger side (right) blade: http://www.infinitipartsusa.com/Item...654-224674.htm Finally, this was Rain-X's reply to my query about the appearance of their blade: Attachment 156512 In my opinion the OEM blades work perfectly well, look a LOT better, and last just as long. The Rain-X blades began streaking and missing spots after two years, just as the OEM blades did. I paid about $18 each for the Rain-X blades so the OEM blades are only slightly more expensive. To me, performance being equal, look is everything. OEM wins hands down. Hope this helps. |
So can you buy OEM refills? Everyone wants to sell you the whole blade now.

I replaced mines with the Bosch Evolutions, they don't look nearly as bad as those Rain-X. I kept my OEM ones so I can try to order the refill and put them back on when the Bosch goes bad.

2009 Infiniti G37 Journey Left Wiper blade refill 2009 Infiniti G37 Journey Right Wiper blade refill $11 shipping is a bit much, but I'd rather have OEM that looks good. |

On my current 2012 G37S I am still using the original wiper blades with over 57k miles. When it comes time to replace them I only use OEM purchased from the dealer with my Infiniti parts discount. I don't trust any aftermarket parts Telcoman |

Preesh, Izzhang.
And I'm not sure why I've found the OEM ones to be best. Perhaps it's because I live in mild temperatures, my car is garaged, and I keep my windshield clean. Plus, the refill blade on the OEM wiper is ridiculously cheap, like $1.50 each |
^ yup, OEM refills are a super cheap way to maintain the OEM look and quality product. i've long used Bosch Icons thinking they were the best (and they are good, just more $$$), but after installing the OEM refills a few months ago i've converted back to stock wipers. none of the expensive aftermarket wipers show appreciable improvements over the OEM blade. and for less than $15 for a set of refills the OEM blades are as cheap as you can find.

Just rec'd my Sedan refills from Quirk Auto Parts | OEM & Aftermarket Car, Truck, SUV, & Van Parts and Accessories
28895-CB08C 28895-JK61A These are genuine Nissan refills, came out to $5.24 per refill and $7.74 shipping so $18.22 to your door, got them in 4 days FWIW  |
I originally purchased "OEM" replacements from Infiniti, but they weren't the same as the ones that came with the car. They didn't look as good, but still looked much better than Bosch Icons, Rainex, etc.
The most disappointing part for me was that they didn't even work! If you were driving more than 70-75mph the wind would get under the blades and they wouldn't even wipe the water away.... if you're gonna call them OEM blades they should at least work. luckily I kept the old blades just in case, so I bought refills online from the link blnewt posted and I'm keeping the fake "OEM" blades from the dealership for the winter. |
Put some rainx or wax or similar. At 75 mph you won't need your wipers.

My dealer replaced my OEM windshield wipers with some crappy ones at my 30K service and threw them away! I asked for some new OEMs but they said that they didn't have any in stock...blah blah blah.
Anyway, the OEMs look the best and in my opinion work the best when compared to Bosch, Michelin, Rain-X, etc. So, does anyone know where I can find the low-profile OEM wiper blades? Waste of money for OEM..Bosch, Rain-X are great...who the hell cares what they look like if they work and last. |

just replaced my blades with TRICO Flex. they load from the side like the factory ones, and look better than most aftermarket. go on right out of the package - no adapter needed. got them at Advanced Auto on sale, i think they were $11 passenger/$15 driver.
