Insideline's Best Looking Lux Coupe Poll
Just as the title says:
Luxury Coupe Styling Challenge on Inside Line I personally think the G37 is the best looking japanese luxury sport coupe... But overall the A/S 5 is the one that catches my eye everytime....its so pretty you just want to rub your b*lls on the hood...LOL |

But overall the A/S 5 is the one that catches my eye everytime....its so pretty you just want to rub your b*lls on the hood...LOL I also really like the A5/S5, but I've never been a big fan of the obnoxious looking grille Audi has been using for the last few years now. IMO, it only looks good on a black A5/S5 because it blends in better. Looks-wise, the G37 coupe > the A5/S5. |
Am I the only one who thins the G37S coupe's interior (all materials aside) looks far better than the S5's interior? :dunno:
|
IMO the side profile of the car and the rear quarter panel views go to the G37 in a landslide. The front view and back view are a wash to me...I like the Mercedes and the A5 about the same as ours. But on those first two angles I mentioned, I don't think you can top the G.

That was harder than I thought. Here is what I picked.
Side profile: A5/S5 This was reeaal close with the G37. It was a virtual tie, but if I had to pick one it has to be the A5/S5 Front facia: BMW 3 BMW did a terrific job on the front of the 3 in the latest gen. Again, another virtual tie with the A5/S5. Rear: BMW 3 comment, same as above. Side/Rear: A5/S5 At this angle and the Side/Front (or an combination thereof) none of the competitors look better. Wheels: G37 These wheels look blends absolutely perfectly with the G and the 14" rotors and enclosed calipers just bring out the wheel even more. Verdict: Looks aren't everything, but if you want to envoke enough passion in an enthusiast to make them purchase a car it ALL starts with exterior design. The G runs a strong 3rd in exterior design IMO. I enjoy it's understated elegance however. Now, if all of the Mercedes, Cadillac, BMW, Infiniti and Audi owners were painfully honest with ourselves we would give props to the Genesis coupe (track edition). It looks better than 4 out of 5 cars in that list. |
The Audi 5 always catches my eye, but I don't think I could ever own an audi.
Style + Reliability = Infiniti! I voted for our cars on all views. lol. :driving: |

I love the styling of the S5, but the pricepoint isn't in line with the G.
Overall exterior, S5. I only voted for the G in wheels. |
Wow, the G37 coupe is getting absolutely crushed by the competition. The only place it's not dead last is the wheels, and then it's only one place above last....
|
I agree with the side and quarter panel view, the G is so nice at those angles. But the grille, I give it to the A5, so nice and fancy. And wheels, IDC i go aftermarket anyways, and as for the rear I like the BMW.

I think 3-series coupe rear looks plain as hell, in fact from a distance it almost looks like a little Honda or something, kinda shrimpy. Audi's rear looks wayy better, and G37's looks considerably better. |
Notice how the German cars have the highest percentages...
|
hmmm, I picked more mercedes. Probably should have shopped arround before buying a G. Oh well there is always next time.
|
Sorry guys, I voted everything except rims for A5. Rims went to Benz. I love the G, but it was when I saw S5 first 3 years ago, I totally drooled all over it, and still do. it's the car that made me buy a coupe. I would take the S5 over any other car. And I mean it.. over G, Vette, Lambo, maybe even Aston.. hmmm well, maybe not :D
