Splash guards yey or nay?

Besides the functionality do they look sportier or worse on the G? Did you ask for them specifically or did they just come with it even though its an option?

edit just read another thread on it through searching forum but does anyone have pics of car with and without them side by side?

get 'em

I had to have then on our car. They look fine. Anything you can do to help protect the paint.

They very much complete the look of the quarter panels IMO. They look great. Their practical use isn't that much because they're not like 4x4 mud flaps, but they help a little. They are a definite "should have" item.

Even if it looks worse (which it doesn't for our car), the protection provided is worth every penny. Get it!!!!

wakeboardr116 11-05-2009 07:41 PM

yes, it doesnt look complete without them.

Agreed....

agree with all of the above, they complete the look of that part of the car... I am glad I didn't have a choice when I got mine (bought an 08 in september of 08, so they got one from out of state w/ premium and nav. lucky me it just so happened to have a few options I didn't pay for, but would be kicking my self if the car didn't have)

SteveG37 11-05-2009 10:48 PM

looks like a mini body kit, gotta get em!!

STOOF 11-05-2009 11:24 PM

Unless you plan on changing the rear and sides you have to have em!

alexdee 11-06-2009 12:41 AM

defintely a "yey"

Xcalibur 11-06-2009 10:48 AM

I thought the same at first until I had seen them on the G.

They really help complete the look of the spoilers and they do protect splashes, debris etc.

Best Looking Splash Guards Ever! Get them!

MoonliteMadness 11-06-2009 05:44 PM

I have them and yes, I recommend that you get them. They look good.

Does anyone know if they make something that would go in front of the rear wheel opening? For some reason, I get a lot of road gunk in the area where the clear protection patch is. It's obvious that's why that clear protection patch is there. However, I would also like something to prevent the residue from getting there in the first place.

Thank you

Any idea wheres the best place to get these at the best price? I am assuming that these will come unpainted if ordered separately.

They come painted. You can order them from your local Infiniti dealer. They are also available on e-bay. The set of four is $150 + $24 shipping from Riverside Infiniti.
