Low battery indicator: weather related?

So last night I noticed that when I started my car, the low battery indicator came on for a minute. Since last night, the indicator has come on every time I have started my car. Today, I even left it running in my driveway for an hour to make sure it had a chance to charge up.

But last night my thermometer was reading -8 degrees, this morning -4 degrees, and never went above zero all day today. Could the low-battery indicator be going on because of the extreme cold and subsequent loss of battery strength? Or do you think my battery is actually low and my alternator isn't charging it properly?

Do they replace the battery under warranty? Is this the kind of thing I need to get fixed asap, or should I call the dealership and just set up an appointment?

Should be covered under warranty.

Get it fixed ASAP. Don't want to get stranded anywhere.

it is possible you lack some distilled water in the battery, check your manual, almost every battery need this kind of maintenance sometimes..

My car is in my garage for the winter right now and when I start it up, I get a light with a battery and a picture of the key fob that show up. Does anyone know what this means?

It's not b'cos of the battery. It's something in the G that drainning the power out so fast after parking for 2-3 days or a week without starting up.
It has poor and weak start up everytime when i leave it for couple day.
I have Optima Red Top replace now and STILL same ploblems after try to leave it for 2-3 days. I guess it's the car!!! Infiniti should fix this issue already!!! WTF!!

the indicator light you speak of usually designates a problem with your charging system, usually an alternator or a voltage regulator. take it to the dealership and they'll take care of it for you.

For the second time since I bought this car, I am officially an idiot. My battery indicator was not on, it was my stupid keyfob battery indicator...

However, I swapped out that battery and the indicator still comes on when I start the car. Do I have to re-set the indicator light or something?

well on the keyfob battery issue, mine has been going off again lately after replacing it a few months ago. At one point I actually had to insert my fob into the car inorder to start it. Now i get home, i pull the battery out and put it to a voltage meter.. its reading 3.13V. what gives?
