How you know it's a great car

It's a really great car when the biggest complaint is that the drivers side floor mat consistently comes off the post:D That's it...other than that, love the styling, performance, interior, sound system, "cool factor", etc. IMO it's a GREAT car! I did park next to an identical one last night in a parking lot:coolio:

I have the same complaint. What's up with that?

The corner cut for the new gas pedal is not big enough, so the heal pushing down on the lump moves the mat backwards off the post.

Could this be turned into a mass service call? Where they could design new mats, well just "cut" the opening more and trade out the mats?

I never noticed I’d have to check it out today…

My old Maxima was the same way - I took a black paperclip and stuck it through the post, thereby cotter pinning the mat....

I haven't had this happen yet. Are you guys positioning your feet incorrectly, or am I? Twilight zone.

The rear matts come with clips that fit under the trim of the car to hold it in place. See if your clips are in place. I have not had a problem with mine at all and just hit 700 miles.

Mine hasn't come off yet but it is pushing on the gas pedal. I was a little disappointed when I saw this. note: only a little frown, other than that this case is AWESOME.

LOL, I'm doing this this coming weekend

The gas pedal isn't an issue anymore for me, it seems the mat has formed well enough to the contour of the floor. It does keep coming off the post. Thanks for the tip w/the paperclip. Going to try that tonight.
