dont know why all this useless complaining, 330hp great looks even if the 1st gen looked better great suspension, brakes and a fine fine interior. But yet people still find stuff to complain about, this is a great car and dont even let me remind you of the price. Girls arent even this picky

Damn that's one amazing deal. Regardless of what us 1st Gen G35 owners think about the design, the G Coupe is going to sell like a hot cake again. I know it doesn't look perfect, but have you really looked at the competition?
BMW - 3 series coupe boring and old looking
Audi A5 - Too boring to be a coupe
Merdedes - CLK? Not the same class
Lexus - No Coupes
Acura - No hope
USA - No luxuy coupes?
As far as styling is concerned, Infiniti killed its competitions again with the 2nd gen G. The EX looks amazing as well. I think the front end looks more aggressive than the G Coupe.
Also, let's not forget when the 1st gen G Coupe came out, people were biatching and complaining about little things, too. *** too big, door to tall, no projector headlights, spoiler too ugly, crappy interior material, notchy shifter...... Still, the sales number far exceeded Nissan's expectations. (Original projected to sell 12,000 a year, actual sales number tripled that easy)
Gen 2 will be a hit once more. I look forward to a couple of years from now when the headlights, front bumper and tail lamps gets a redesign and power bump up to 350hp. (probably doable right now, but Nissan likes the annual increase to boost sales)

I don't even mind the front bumper which many dislike. The rear of both coupes are very similiar but the '08 ups the ante with a more chizeled, muscular back end. I still haven't seen it in person but I really like it in pictures, and I can't imagine it would be any different in person. We all march to a different drum. The '08 seems to speak "luxury" to me far better than the first gen.

yea.. have to agree.. i'm definately not feeling that comparison above. If anything.. for me.. it screams.. in with the new.. out with the old. The things i was never crazy about concerning the g35 are brought to the forefront when you sit both cars next to each other. I loved my g35.. but man o' man.. cant wait for the new ride come aug.

This is another thing in person that really stood out more then initial phtots or the web cam launch, the front end really looks great from top down, and looking down the length of the car from right in front of it, this car really did look better in person...
I hope they hit the delaers sooner and think some folks may appreciate the car more in red or black, but with a higher priced coupe market in BMW, Audi, and with Acura and Lexus not really competing here, this car will sell well.

Someone on freshalloy posted these comparo pics. The first pic of the 1st gen coupe has always been the worst view of the 1st gen (head on).

Don't know how to just paste images, so I just copied in the url.
I can't see how the 2nd gen isn't more aggressive.
