Who else using VVEL besides G37 and BMW?

I'm not sure if you guys are getting VVEL right. VVEL basically eliminates the throttle butterfly (it still has throttle due to emissions purposes). CVTC is to VTEC as VVEL is to Valvetronic.

I doubt it since it has been so long. A patent eventually runs out. I think that the norm is 10 years.
