What's different between two type of bumper
 

Hello every one. Finally this old lurker going to hit the trigger to getting 2012 vert very soon, it's being transport to my local dealer. So this is my first writing on here and I think time for step in this forum for have all the gem of benefits from many experiences people. My first question is actually begin from almost year ago, nothing important, just curious. I was shopping G37 either sedan or coupe from one of local dealer, after test drive and talked prices etc, dealer said they have g37 convertible too. I thought maybe just for checking is OK. But soon as saw that car, I was falling in love, I din't buy that car, because car price was out of my range and 2010 that's couple years older then what I looking that day, also I need to home work, research and prepare clean out garage spaces etc... while I researching the car I found many other g37 vert has different front bumper cover than what I saw it first, even same year and wasn't said different trim.
Anyone know why they have two different looking bumper and what's makes different?:confused2:

The left is an older body, the right is newer. The right is not a sport model it's a base.

Thank you for reply, if left is older model I saw few 2010 and 2011 has those bumper and even 2009 has right side bumper. Kind of odd to me. Anyway it's not a big deal, just wanted right idea to sorted out.

Sport has fog lights so I don't think the right one is sport either.

The G37 vert what i'm going to purchase car described premium, sports, performance and technology package included, is all those 4 are optional packages? or some already included? If performance package is option to add on, anyone has that package added and how much more power increase?

bluntz617 is correct. The one on the left is non-sport and the right is the sport model. 2008-2010 models did not have fog lights in the bumper, they were integrated into the headlights. Refer to pictures below for 2011+ non-sport (top) and sport (bottom) comparison. Note how both have lower fog lights.

All of those packages are optional. I'm not sure what the performance package is, but there is no added horsepower. Unless it is the IPL model, which I believe has about 15-20 more horsepower.
