Are you ready for the parking lot?

I am! I have my doorshox to prevent door dings and my bumper bully to protect against the "park by feel" crowd.

There's always some a-hole who will park right next to me, no matter how far away I park. My 2010 car is ding-less and the rear bumper is flawless. A few minor nicks in the front bumper only.

Well, I dont know what to say... but when I was young dumb and, well, you know... those would be a reason to dent your car I have owned a black 350 and 370Z, and those might have come in handy. Thats while I have silver now... Are those secured with cables? What do they secure to on the doors?

LOL@ the pics (no offense. )
not sure if being satirical... or really paranoid

I usually find a parking spot thats at the end of a row (eliminate chance of being scratched from one side), and then park as close to the end as possible (giving as much room as possible to the one car that may park next to me)

or just park further away.

plus it's just the plastic/metal work/shell... scruffs and scratches are normal wear and tear anyway.

You will get more scratches from the bumper guard flapping against the bumper when you drive.

AFIK it flips up into the trunk when not in use. LOL at the side bumpers more than anything though...

The side door guards are magnetic and are secured with a cable through the door and a suction cup and large rounded metal end. The underside is coated with silicon and doesn't scratch the paint. I take these guards off when I drive, they are just for the parking lot.

What if the van to the right of you opens his passenger door too quickly/hard, looks like you have no protection on the rear passenger side panel. You'd still get dinged with all that effort.

No worries, the passenger side door guard was positioned so it would protect the quarter pannel.

It's just how it is.

Doing all that work you're just asking for people to mess with your car. Same to those who double/triple lane park.

I normally park at the end on curb side close to the curb (chances of curb checking the wheels too).

First time seeing/hearing about those door shox and bumper shox. I think it's ridiculous as hell..and I consider myself crazy/nutzo about my baby. You will scratch your paint over time taking them on and off, even with the silicon housing. You probably can't see those swirls you're causing since white is good at hiding them.

I gotta agree with Quaker, these are going to cause more damage than protect you from it. Thanks for showing my wife that there are people out there who are more protective over their cars than I am. This is a whole nutha level.
