Hi there! I'm new to the site

Hey there everyone! My name is J.R. and I'm new to the site. I was motivated to join the site after recently purchasing my 2011 Obsidian Black G37 Convertible. This is actually the 3rd G I've owned, the previous ones being a 2003 Silver Infiniti G35 Sedan and a 2008 Slate Blue Infiniti G35x Sedan. I didn't do any mods on the previous two, but was immediately motivated to mod this one.

I've had the car for only two weeks and it's already sitting in pieces awaiting various mods to be delivered for install. In the past, when I had a 2003 Mitsubishi EVO VIII, I was mostly focused on speed mods and I actually built that car up to 550 awhp with a 100hp nitrous shot as well. It was A LOT of fun and a SUPER fast car, but unfortunately not a very drivable car for daily use.

With this car I have modest intentions for upgrades. Just a few basic engine mods like intake, exhaust, grounding kit, and ECU Flash or Piggy Back. I need it to be driveable on a daily basis. Most of my mods will be visual.

I'll have updated pics of everything in the next couple weeks. As of now my albums include pics of my current car in stock form and pics of my old EVO VIII.

Glad to be on the boards! I look forward to getting to know more of you.

Congrats on the new ride.

Post pics of the mods when they are done.

Sorry for the lack of pics guys. I have them posted in the albums under my profile, but I know it's just easier if I put them in here. I will attempt to do so below. These shots were taken when I was test driving it, right before I bought it. They are the "before" pics :-)

Thanks man! It's not gonna look anything like that in a couple more days. Got a lot going on this week. Hope to have new pica to post by Friday with a completely different look to it. Stay tuned.......
