Hmmm, haven't seen any verts in my area except in the Infiniti lots. Still don't care for the lines on the vert tops. They don't seem as sleek as the coupes. This car was not meant to be a vert IMHO.
Congrats on the buy though!! Looking forward to what you come up with.

the low trunkline definitely makes it stand out on the road. I'm glad they went with the skinnier tailights b/c it does show the wider 1" stance in the rear when you see a g37 on the highway.

I actually agree and I'm know I'm going to be in the minority here. The G37 was a sure buy for me when I saw the concept. Unfortunately, I could not get over Infiniti's decsion to inflate the final version. Sometimes it looks fine. Sometimes it looks weird.
Three weeks ago on my way home from Coney Island, I came to a red light. There was a G37 coupe in the cross way making a left in the same direction as me. Suprisingly, from the back this particular coupe didn't look bloated at all. At first I thought it was the distance but then I realized it was the convertible.
I never thought I would say this in a million years but until I have more evidence to prove otherwise, I think the vert looks better than the coupe.
