The car is stock with 2 minor exceptions. In a warmer climate like TX, the dash got bit sticky. Others here on the forum have seen this occur. I addressed it by installing a custom-fit dash cover with which I've been quite pleased. I also refinished the wheels (originally silver) in satin bronze to compliment the bronze window tint on the car. It all goes well with the Infiniti grey, much better than did the silver wheels.
The interior overall is excellent for a 2008. Everything works and there's surprisingly little wear on the driver's seat side bolster. The paint has a few minor chips and dings here and there (mostly on the front), but is much nicer than most 2008 cars. The engine runs smoothly, has plenty of power and shows no signs of oil consumption. 5AT is smooth shifting, steering is tight handling is solid.
Maintenance - Full synthetic (Castrol Magnatec 5W-30) oil change performed 4/18 at the Nissan dealer 1,500 miles ago. I also had the front end aligned at that visit. The same week, I drained and refilled the rear differential with Mobil 1 full synthetic gear oil so I would know that was taken care of properly. Automatic transmission fluid is a nice clear red (a sign that it was refreshed not long ago). A complete brake service was done 3/18 at 89K miles. Previous owner had the window tint re-done 3/17 at a cost of $400. Tires - Fronts are Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 (their max performance summer tire) measuring 8/32. Rears are Faulken Pro G4 at 5/32.
When I bought the car in March 2018, it had a good Carfax report with no accident history and that remains the case to the present. The car has been 100% trouble-free during my ownership. Weather permitting, I make it a point to drive the car at least weekly for a 30+ minute trip to get everything up to normal operating temps.
I love the G. I'm simply looking towards upgrading to a similar type vehicle that's newer and with less miles or perhaps new (and, of course, additional $$).
