First a 4-door Nissan GT-R then it has an Infiniti badge and now an Infiniti badged 2-door GT-R. Rumors, rumors, rumors.

I love how they say the company confirms Infiniti will have a version of the GT-R with no credible link or source cited :rolleyes: I'm not saying it's not possible, but if you're going to make bold claims like that and expect people to take it seriously, let's see some credible backup.

im not 100% vouching for topspeed but they are a pretty credible source from what i have been reading over the last couple years or so...i believe it...or at least i can dream cant i?:biggthumpup:

This is crazy. So if I were thinking about buying the real GT-R from Nissan now, why not wait a year or so and get the "new improved 500 HP version" from Infiniti?

Whatever the result, the Infiniti badge on the front ruins it for me. Looks bad.

well Infiniti was upset that Nissan got the GT-R, they didn't think Nissan USA could push a car with that price tag and figured a high end model should go Infiniti like the NSX with Acura which is a Honda in Japan and the SC430 Lexus, which is a Toyota in Japan... here we just pay more for a name. So I somewhat believe this will be Infiniti's gift to cash out on a 70k+ auto such as Acura and Lexus did.
