So here's my xbox 360 story
 

I got my wisdom teeth pulled a week ago, and I landed an Xbox 360 bundle from Amazon luckily while I was in bedrest. I tried selling the Console itself on ebay for 800, but it only got to 760..and I decided what the hell, and hooked the damn thing up! Let me tell you.. in 720p with DD, Ridge Racer 6 looks OUT OF HAND on my Sony 50 inch LCD projection. :D

I pre ordered my back in June and got it Nov 23rd and a night hasnt gone by without some time playing it. Graphics on the new titles just rock

Waste of money in my opinion.. Especially the people that payed over 1k for them on ebay.

My roommate has part of the Xbox 360...the controller...he's still waiting on the system and games from gamestop. I wish my regular xbox controller came wireless like they do now for the 360. I wonder how long the batteries last.

I would never be that stupid to pay over 1k for this game and thats why I am glad I pre-ordered. Heck I am considering going down to pre-order PS3 as well.

As for the controllers they have charging stations so batteries are not an issue !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So Question ... has any one compare Call of Duty 2 on Xbox 360 to a PC with a good graphics card? I did and I can tell you I wasn't impressed. Microsoft delivered a mid range PC with a decent graphic card - and the thanks to great marketing ... people have fallen over themselves to buy it. I don’t know there are only two titles right now for 360 that I can’t get on my PS2 or on PC, so is it really worth it? Don’t get me wrong King Kong looks sick on it … but I load King Kong on my PS2, turn on Pan and Scan and … it is just as good! So what makes Xbox 360 “Great”?

I'm *hoping* you have an HDTV to make this comparison... right? :) Alot of people are saying its not impressive and they have old school 4x3 crappy tvs. Also... the video card in the 360 is higher end then most PC stuff.... It's not suposed to be better than a PC with a good graphics card.. difference is good graphics card = $400+ plus your PC... :)

I have never purchased a console. I play games on my computer... but I'm thinking about a 360 to use on my 62" HDTV... or maybe waiting for a PS3.

How do you like the 360 controller? I'm used to using the the mouse and "WASD" keys to move around computer games.

The Wireless controller is pretty kickass.. you can even turn the system on and off from it, which is a neat and handy feature to have!
