Again, I am Amanda. I live in Pensacola, Florida. I just recently purchased my G35 coupe. I never got a chance to ask the questions I wanted or was able to even post because it seemed my entry blew up. I'm glad I could start an entertainment entry though :D lol. I'd like to post some pictures of my G35, but I'm not very good with forums yet. My first modification I'm looking at doing for the G is getting some nice wheels and tires. My G is blue. I don't really care for black wheels on blue but anything else really. I am also wondering if there is anyone else in the area that could help me out with some simple mechanical work. I know I've seen plenty of modified G's. Chime in if you're from around my parts. Thanks for all your help in advance.

Buying wheels and tires for a G is not difficult, but there are more things to consider than you would think... need to decide what diameter wheels you want - 19" or 20" ...how wide you want them... and the hardest part, what offsets to get... tires become fairly standard after you decide on the wheel sizes you want. It also makes a difference if you plan on lowering your car a lot. You'll need to keep more conservative offsets if you plan on really slamming your G. |

I think I would go with 19 inch wheels. I will probably have it lowered eventually.

Welcome to the world of G.
Go to www.tirerack.com and enter the info on your car looking for rims. It will allow you to see your coupe in whatever shade blue with various different rims on it. It will also help out with appropriate tire sizes. You don't have to order anything from them, but it is a good place to start. I've used them twice with good service- you just have to find a shop to mount it all locally. |

Whats up i am from the Pensacola area as you know, and i would take ur G up to
VT of of Davis highway and talk to them about getting some rims etc... I bought my rims from them and i couldnt be more happy with them!!! |

Welcome Amanda. I lived in Pensacola for 15 years. My wife I moved after we lost everything in Hurricane Ivan. We lived in Grand Lagoon right across from NAS Pensacola. I miss the Fish House and Ozone's badly, but my in-laws and I recently bought a Condo in Orange Beach. Again Welcome, and could you send me some stuff from Joe Patti's? |
Welcome to the forums. U can try to look thru the Gallery section and there is cardomain.com. If u good with photoshop? U can photoshop rims on your car.
