Ok...so I am going to splurge here shortly. My liquor store got me a bottle of Yamazaki "Sherry Cask" Whiskey. One of 5000 bottles in the WORLD! A steal at $340! LoL

I love sitting with some friends and sipping on the trusty Disaronno or mix up some Bourbon Fix's. I'm looking for suggestions under, say, $250? I'm thinking Yamazaki, 12 or 16 year? I've always been a rookie and used a couple ice cubes from the ice chest but distilled water cubes seems like the better route. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Disaronno?

Get some manly whiskey of your choice. Scotch, bourbon, Canadian blended, whatever suits your tastes. Pour it over ice and enjoy. Try different things. These are great ice cubes (spheres actually). They don't melt as fast as traditional ice cubes and chill your drink faster.

Werd...DiSaronno is just a mixing drink. Yamazaki is one of the best but definitely pricey. I'd start out with a less costly option first in order to acquire the taste...then go big ***** style. Try Bernheim wheat whiskey...awesome whiskey for only like $35 bucks. Scotch, Glenn Rothes has some excellent variations from $40 and up. With bourbon, Bulleit, Buffalo Trace, Blantons or Michters would all be good entry levels to try. After you get the taste and find what you like, step up to the Yamazaki 18yr (if you can find it), Hibiki 21, Pappy Van Winkle (also, if you can find it) and just keep expanding your horizions! Good luck

If you are a Star Wars fan...you'll want this ice sphere! LoL
