Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a small project I’ve been working on 👀

I designed and made a set of carbon canards for the Infiniti G37 Coupe (Sport front bumper). They’re fully handmade by me – not cheap mass-produced parts – and they fit directly onto the OEM Sport bumper.

For the best possible fitment, I actually 3D scanned the front of the car and used that data to design the canards precisely to the bumper shape.

Some details:

real carbon fiber (no carbon-look)

designed specifically for the G37 Coupe Sport bumper

developed using a 3D scan for precise fitment

lightweight and solid

motorsport-inspired look, but still clean enough for street use

I’ve attached some photos + a video below so you can check them out. Let me know what you think about them.

And since a few people already showed interest:
👉 I’m open to making these on request / made-to-order if anyone here wants a set.

This is all done privately (not a registered business), but I focus on quality work and clear communication.

If you’re interested or have any questions:
👉 just send me a PM

Feedback is always welcome 🙌

Cheers

My 2011 G37 xS coupe (Canadian, but imported to the U.S) always has low beams and drls on at all times. I noticed this with my stock headlights, but it especially irks me with my new aftermarket ones as it drowns out the nice looking led strips at all times when ignition is on. I understand this is likely due to Canada’s standard that drls must always be on no matter what, but I’m not sure how to go about getting this fixed so that my actual led strips drls stay on at all times, while low beams remain something that I can turn off and on as I please. Any advice I can get here would be very helpful, thank you.

On the 2009, the original fog light bulb was integrated into the headlight assembly. That old bulb was connected through the headlight harness with a gray wire and a yellow wire.

I tried connecting the Morimoto LED fogs directly to those wires, thinking that since those were the factory fog light wires, it should work. But the LEDs do not power on properly. At one point they seemed to work for a second, then nothing. Thought blown a fuse, but its not the fuse.

So I’m trying to figure out:

Are the gray and yellow wires from the original headlight fog bulb actually usable to trigger aftermarket fogs?

Is the factory circuit maybe not supplying the right voltage or ground for the Morimoto LEDs?

Do I need to use those factory wires only as a trigger for a relay harness instead of powering the LEDs directly?

Has anyone done this exact setup on a 2009 G37 with AlphaRex headlights and a sport bumper conversion?

I’d really like to retain the OEM stalk control instead of adding a separate switch.

Any help with wiring diagrams, relay suggestions, or someone who has done this before would be appreciated.
